SB hotels was born in Tortosa (Catalonia) in 1988, a product of the initiative and leadership of the Catalan entrepreneur Joan Subirats Berenguer, who in 1975 began his activity in the real estate sector (housing promotion and construction), later creating the division of hotel services.
Since then, the management of SB hotels is carried out by a group of professionals who work day after day to improve the quality of their services and to satisfy the needs of their clients.
The activity began with the construction and commercialisation of the La Ràpita Aparthotel in Sant Carles de la Ràpita, back in 1988; it was followed by Hotel SB Corona Tortosa in 1994, Hotel SB Ciutat de Tarragona in 1998, Hotel SB Express Tarragona in 2003, Hotel SB Icaria Barcelona in 2004, Hotel SB Diagonal Zero in 2009, Hotel SB BCN Events in Castelldefels in 20011 and, recently, Hotel SB Plaza de Europa, which opened its doors in October 2013.
