Castelldefels

The town of Castelldefels has grown at the same pace as Barcelona. A group of country houses formed the very first settlement in the area which did not have any real urban structure until the 20th century. With the economic growth of Barcelona and the boom in the automotive industry, Castelldefels became a summer destination for many Barcelona citizens during the mid 50s.

 The large open shopping centre, and several small and medium-sized shops in the streets and squares of Castelldefels invite us to stroll through them and get to know the town on a first hand. Clothing and footwear shops rub shoulders with those selling special food products, interior decoration, and the latest technologies. The Ànec Blau shopping centre, only 5 minutes walk from Hotel SB BCN Events, is a vast showcase of food products, decoration, and leisure items with over 100 establishments selling a wide range of different brands.
