The Museum of Modern Art was created by the Deputation of Tarragona in 1976, some of  its most important  and  genuine  works were sold or left in quality, and  in time  they lost track of them.

Is divided in different parts:

• Photographic file, with photographies of Spanish monuments that date back  to  the year 1929.
• La casa Martí, (Marti's House) which is the union of three old houses of the high part of the city.
• The Library, where  we can find former magazines of “Bellas Artes”

In the Museum of Modern Art, we can admire works of recognized artists as Julio Antonio, Salvador Martorell, Santiago Coast, Josep Sancho, Jose Nogué, Ramon Carreté, Lluís Saumells …

Oppening: From Tuesday until Friday: from 10 to 20 h.
Saturday: from 10 to 15 and from 17 to 20 h.
Sunday: from 11 to 14 h.
